Three years ago, we finally got to bring home our new (well... 3 month old) baby Luke. Yup... yesterday marked the 3rd anniversary of our big escape from the NICU... a rollercoaster ride we'll never forget. And it did literally feel like an escape after ALMOST being discharged, only to be disappointed, one too many times. Three months filled with what seemed like endless surgeries, tests and pokes. And even though our rollercoaster ride continued after we got home, when your family is together, everything is better. We'll never forget the warmth and comfort of the Ronald McDonald house which became our second home for so long and all the wonderful nurses that took care of Luke in the NICU. Here's a montage I made of Luke's NICU stay.

Beautiful video Shelly! That time in NICU seems endless while you are going through it. And you are right even though things might still be hard, it is so much better being home and being together as a family.
Congratulations on this happy anniversary!
what an inspirational video, thanks so much for sharing!!!
I just wanted to tell you we got the Valentine in the mail and it was very cute!!
Thank you very much, and yes we will have to set something up for us to come and visit you all. We can't wait to meet Luke.
Hugs,
Crystal and Eva
Happy Anniversary! Your stay was just about as long as Evan's (14 weeks in the hospital--11 in the NICU). Amazing job!
