We celebrated Luke and Josh's birthdays yesterday with a big birthday party. Luke's actual birthday is today and Josh's is tomorrow.

Three years ago exactly, our little Luke was born on Thanksgiving. A Thanksgiving we'll never forget. Both one of the best and worst days of our lives. One of the best, for being blessed with our fifth precious child... and one of the worst for almost losing another. As hard as it was to be thankful that day, we quickly learned we had to be thankful for every minute we had with you, Luke, and every tiny baby step toward health along the way. And three years later, after a very scary roller coaster ride, we are not only thankful for having you here with us, but we are so thankful for every smile... for every hug... for all the cute and funny things you do... and most of all, for all the love and joy you've brought us. Thank you Luke for adding sunshine to all our lives. Happy 3rd Birthday sweetheart!

Birthday Boys...
Big Sister Taylor decorated the cake and we put a little toy helicopter on top (one of his favorites). Luke had fun spinning the little helicopter blades.
