Luke got a haircut! A very badly needed haircut. And yes, his hair still sticks up but unless we shave his head or he stays OFF the floor completely this will be an ongoing problem. His head is colick city! But at least he doesn't look like Baby Einstein anymore. I'm always sad to see his head full of curls go but he looks like such a big boy when he's done.
Here's a before picture I took of our little hobo on what you would call a bad hair day:
And now...
Much better, huh?
I haven't posted much about Luke's new hearing aids. We've been battling a lot with feedback which causes a ringing sound and is very annoying. Anytime he lays on the floor or even tilts his head to the side there is feedback, so the more time he spends sitting up or in his walker or gait trainer, the better, which we push for anyway. Now that he can hear better, he's starting to watch more TV and he enjoys his signing videos more. The difference in him has been pretty subtle otherwise, besides the occasionally startling when he hears something, but we are noticing little changes that tell us that he's getting more input and learning more.
If you look close, you can see his hearing aid. This isn't the best picture of it so I'll try to post a better one soon.

Love your new haircut, Luke--you look like such a big boy! Don't feel bad--Katie has wild hair and lots of cowlicks too!
Hugs,
Leslie & Katie
I love the new haircut, Eva has colics all over her head too and it makes me crazy that is why she gets the pebbles pony on top the head a lot...LOL! My mother in law hates it but it looks better then a big old mess that will not stay down.
We also have problems with Eva's aid sometimes too.
Keep up the great work!!
Hugs,
crystal and Eva
